How it started
It all started way back 2019, when Aila was challenged to make the perfect batch of cookies. Like anyone who doesn’t know much, she enrolled in baking classes to learn the basics of baking. After much elbow grease, dough after dough, she developed her own recipe for the chocolate chip cookies that eventually became her signature cookie.
Our Mission
Initially selling only within her network, without any online presence, The Dough Kitchen (TDK)’s cookie recipe is still evolving. The pandemic taught us to be nimble, listening to our customers, and sourcing out the right ingredients. Unlike most shops, the menu is kept at a minimum to keep our focus.


About the Founder
Behind every cookie is this sweet smile from the founder of The Dough Kitchen, Aila Siggaoat. With no degree from culinary art school, she knew she wanted to make pastries and cookies. Taking a bold move amidst the pandemic, she started The Dough Kitchen with a hand mixer in tow and a couple of ingredients to start.
She continues to listen to customer comments and reviews, researching to make her pastries better, and striving to make her cookies the cookies that will make your day.
